Oakland Spokes Community Bike Lounge is partnering with The Roll Up to bring you a new Bike Lounge in/near Downtown Oakland. Our Popuphood lease is over this week and we rocked the spot at 9th and Broadway. Originally planned for just bike to work month, this popup lease gave us some footing in Oakland and new legitimacy as Oakland SPOKES with a Brick and mortar. We rang up over 1000 sales in our little pop up over the course of the month racking up about 150 services and about 600 sales of accessories and parts. We held workshops and deployed Bike valet just about 10 different community events. Our impact in the neighborhood brought people together and hopefully regardless of our location has elicited respect and dedicated relationships with our new and old customers in Old Oakland...
Coming soon SPOKES’ Roll Up Community bike space will continue to feature the bike lounge experience coupled with expert service commuter accessories and great atmosphere. Our Commitment to highlight the impact of Community Bike Organizations (CBO)’s will continue with our involvement in bike cultured events, advocacy and economy as we grow in our network of CBO's.
